PROGRAM INFORMATION

We are looking for well-rounded athletes to represent the College of the Sequoias at athletic events, at on-campus and off-campus appearances, and competitively. The two teams are determined based on skill level and competitiveness. 

Blue Team: The blue team will attend all home athletic games, program events, away and post-season games and COS campus/community events. This team will have a more skills-focused setting. Stunting skill level required for the team will be determined based on tryouts but will require a higher level of stunting. The team will be made up of up to 20-25 members and will also be the preferred team to compete at college nationals on the all-girl traditional mat. 

Orange Team: The orange team will attend all home athletic games, program events, away and post-season games as needed and COS campus/community events. This team will have a more game day skills-focused setting. Stunting skill level required for the team will be determined based on tryouts but will require at least intermediate skill level. Those who do not have all of the skills required at tryouts but show potential to gain the skills, will be selected to be a part of the orange team. The team will be made up of 10-15 members. If we have enough members to make up this team, the coaches will consider competing in small coed intermediate/advanced. If not, members will automatically compete on the Game Day team at college nationals.

White Team: Game Day competition team will be composed of members from both Blue and Orange Team.
